Quick question about HIV.. Please help..?!

Question: Quick question about HIV!.!. Please help!.!.!?
The other day I went to get my acrylic overlay on my nails removed!. The guy made a mistake and cut my finger and my nail was halfway ripped off!. I was bleeding so the guy got some iodine solution and put it on my finger nail!. But there is one problem, he touched my blood with the tip of the bottle!. He did it as if he has done it in the past!. Like he doesn't know that it's not safe to touch my blood with the bottle especially since they use it for other people!. My question is can I contract HIV from the bottle if someone elses blood was previously touched with the bottle!?
Oh and trust me, I went off on him and told him how he shouldn't do that!. He had no idea!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It's highly unlikely that you would contract HIV this why!. While it is careless for the person doing your nails to treat a cut like that, HIV cannot live for long outside of the body and you'd need a more signigicant amount of contact with fuilds from an infected person in order for transmission to occur!.

What I would suggest to you is finding a nail place that you feel safe at!. I've had lots of issues from getting my nails done at places with substandard conditions!. Just the other day i noticed that the woman doing my nails had a huge wart on her finger, and when I asked if she wouldn't mind wearing gloves so that she wouldn't pass it along to me, she asked me if warts were contagious! God knows how many people she's infected with that! I've also gotten gnarly infected cuts before!. Lots of nail places are not too clean!.!.!. make sure you are going to a place you can trust!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the virus can only live outside the body for 48 hrs so you are most likely fineWww@Answer-Health@Com

Wow! You are correct to be concerned!

Good question!

I would say upon first thought, that yes, you may be at risk!.

On second thought, hopefully the iodine solution would kill anything that may have gotten into it, like the blood you mentioned!.

Most places that service the public must be inspected by the health department!.

Contact your local health department to report the incident to them!.

Maybe they can obtain a specimen to analyze the contents of the bottle in question!.

I think they will, if you insist you feel your health, and the health of others has been/is being compromised!.

My other thought on this matter would be why is he arbitrarily putting iodine on people's cuts!? Someone may be allergic to the iodine!. Apparently he is not asking before he 'administers' this 'treatment'!.

Not good!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
