You bet! I would love to! Both my daughter and I are diabetics and know the whole drill!. Life goes on and it can be fun!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you are searching for a family to receive you as part of an exchange, I think it would be important for the family to be aware of the needs and treatment requirements involved with type 1 diabetes (which I assume you have, based on your age)!.

I recommend you post on TuDiabetes!.com, a community for people touched by diabetes, to try to make connections with other folks who may be able (and qualified) to receive you as an exchange student!. Not sure where you plan on going for your exchange, but there are members from all over the world (majority US, with lots of folks from Canada, UK and Australia too)!.

Hope this helps,Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, just be sure to bring your medical history, medications, and have your disease under control!. You would have to get the ok from you doctor first!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Of course, it would be highly discriminating not to!. As long as you know how to manage your condition and give yourself shots and are careful with your diet you're no different from any other 15 year old!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
