Question: Can a medication called gabapentin{nerunton} cause anger and aggression!?
I have been taking this medication off and on for years but resently I've noticed that I feel angry for no reason any on know about this medication !?Www@Answer-Health@Com

hmmm!.!. as a health professional, i know that gabapentin should actually act as a relaxant (especially if you're having seizures etc) and it is also used to relieve anxiety etc!.
So, being easily angered and aggressive may mean that the medication may not be working well!. You may be facing side effects esp since you're taking it for years!.
It is a good thing you are conscious of any changes in your mood, etc!. it is important to take note of any mood disturbances and any mental changes whenever one is taking ANY MEDS!.
i suggest you consult your doctor regarding your medication use!. :)
but if you read more, i think mood swings is highly a side-effect of this drug/med :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
