Question: What do my bloodworks mean!?
hi folks!. I had a blood test done recently by my rheumatologist!. He tested Protein Elctro!.,S; Sjorgren's Ab, Anti-SS-A/-SS-B; Antiextractable Nuclear Ag; Anti-Myeloperoxidase (MPO) ABS; Rheumatoid Arthritis Factor; CCP - IgG Antibodies!.
Here are some of the notable results:
Gamma Globulin - 2!.0 g/dL HIGH
Anti - DNA (SS) IgG, Ab, Qn - 107 EU HIGH
Can someone tell me what these results mean!? Like what exactly is the thing that's malfunctioning to make these results abnormally high and what can be done to fix it!?

Gamma globulin, also called immunoglobulin, is a class of blood plasma proteins, most notably including the antibodies that help fight infections and disease!. Abnormal amounts of gamma globulin can have adverse effects on health or can be indicative of disease!. In medicine, gamma globulin injections are used to treat certain conditions!.
Anti-DNA antibodies (Abs) are important in the pathogenic development of systemic autoimmune diseases!. The major known pathogenic effect of anti-DNA Abs is the induction of an inflammatory response in kidneys due to their deposition!. (The Qn means quantity)!.
So chances are that you have something going on with your immune system!.

Your results would suggest an ongoing inflammatory process and/or an autoimmune disorder of some kind but your doctor must be the one to interpret the significance of your labs and how they relate to you!.

Also find out what your platelet count was during the blood work!. Mine was found to be seriously low and was immediately admitted to the hospital!. Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
