Sweat rash, how to treat it?!

Question: Sweat rash, how to treat it!?
I have a sweat rash on my vagina, its kind of bumpy and it itches!.!.!.!.!.!.I know this is not any kind of STD because I got the same thing last summer under my arm pits and vagina and the doctor took one look at it and said it was from sweating and the skin rubbing together and also a mixture of ingrown hairs, !.!.!.!.!.!.also I have been with the same person for a 1 year and we are clean!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.It really is uncomfortable and it looks unflattering, its like clear bumps that have puss in them, could I use something like Polysporin!? or is there something better!?

thank you :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
What you are describing ( clear, flesh like bumps) sounds more like a boil or ingrown hairs!.!.!.!.ingrown hairs can be clear and in clusters or one red bump!.!.!.!.I just had a cluster of clearish bumps that appeared 2 days ago and now have popped and are clearing over, I get these a lot in the summer months!.!.!.!.!.!.!.I used Poly (or you can use any medicated ointment you have) and put a band-aid over them to keep the Poly from going anywhere else and they are just clearing up now!.!.!.!.!.!.!.These are caused by sweat and chaffing, if you used a razor recently then there was a small cut in the skin!. The sweat got inside (as well as maybe vaginal secretions) and were irritated once you walked a long distance or exercised in the heat!. Ingrown hairs and boils are not fun!.!.!.!.!.after shaving clean the area!. And after you have perspired wash the area as soon as you can to prevent this from happening again!.!.!.a shower is best or a medicated vaginal wipe (Playtex, Summer's Eve, Vagisil etc!.!.!.make these wipes) also wash other spots where boils and ingrown hairs can pop up like under arms and thighs!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.hope you feel better soon!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You say they are clear bumps yet have pus in them!? Do they itch just a little bit at first and then become painful!? If you answered yes to any of these things to which I described, then you don't really have a rash so to speak, you have boils!. Boils can be caused by many things!. Ingrown hairs are the most common reason, however, they can be caused by other things as well!. Have you ever given blood before!? Sometimes a bacteria can become infected within the blood that could cause boils!. Many things can cause them!. Are you over weight at all!? Even a slight weight problem can cause them to become worse, especially down there!. But boils aren't always found on over weight people ither, for thin people can get them too!.

Have you seen your family physician about this!? Some over the counter medications may be helpful, but before you try anything, your best bet is to go see your doctor first!. Boils are very, very painful!. I have had them for 20 years now!. There isn't a whole lot you can do for them, except try to keep the troubled areas clean and dry the best way you can!. Use baby unscented powder or some cornstarch!. If this doesn't work, see your doc!. I know this sounds cliche, but this is my best advice for you!.

Good luck and I hope you are feeling better soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
