The itchy bumps don't sound like a common HIV symptom that I can recall!. HIV skin rashes are often only slightly raised and appear during the acute phase (2-4 weeks after exposure)!. You must show this to a doctor and get a proper evaluation!. It could be anything!.

That said, you might consider taking an HIV test since you do have the risk factors, and in case you are infected you must undergo proper monitoring and treatment!. HIV positive people who don't get tested may be compromising their life expectancy and quality of life!. You may, for instance, get a secondary infection that is very hard to treat!.

Again, the rash could be anything and HIV is definitely not the first one on my list!. Visit a doctor for the rash and also ask for an HIV test!. Don't worry too much!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Think of it this way: at least if you know, you can get on with your life and take the necessary precautions that you need!.

Being scared all the time is NOT an improvement over knowing that you have a disease!. You are choosing to be powerless - not to mention if you still engage in risky behavior you are exposing other people!. What could you live with!?

Nowadays, people who have tested positive for HIV have a better quality of life than ever before, with the help of medications and lifestyle changes!. If you have it, it's better to be proactive and do something about it!.

You need to take control and get tested!. Take responsibility!. It is very important!.

Edit: And yes, it can cause rashes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should talk with a doctor about your symptoms, which may or may not be HIV related, depending on how long ago you engaged in risky behavior!. I suggest that you get counseling!. You can go to your local Department of Health or Planned Parenthood office!. Talk with someone about your concerns, then get tested!. It is understandable to put off testing temporarily in some cases due to fear!. The testing is still very important; if you are HIV+, the sooner you know, the sooner you can receive medical monitoring and appropriate medication, to help you stay healthier longer!.
If you are HIV-, you can take steps to prevent yourself from being infected in the future!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Please get tested!! The idea of testing is to be able to control infection!. If you let it go too long, the doctors will be chasing the symptoms in an effort to find the source of the problem!. Thats hard to fix, and can be too late!. You want to have your problem under control!. Poeple in the medical field dont look down on you because you have some "problem"!. The attitude is to diagnose it and treat it, and try to "cure" the ailment!. Please get tested!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Every one can give an opinion but you better than anyone only know your body, you know that something is wrong and it can be anything!. the most common STD are herpes and chlamydia, but there are many more that might have the same symptoms, only a doctor can really find what your problem is!. many clinics that treat std keep everything confidential!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

scared to get tested!? that's all I need to read!.!.!.GET TESTED!.!.ITS PEOPLE LIKE YOU THAT DON'T GET TESTED AND ARE POSITIVE THAT INFECT OTHERS WITHOUT KNOWINGWww@Answer-Health@Com

Having HIV lowers your resistance to infections, viral or bacterial!. So yes, often times HIV patients experience rashes!. HOWEVER--- any medication you are on for the follicuitis can also cause rashes, so don't jump to conclusions!. The fact that you are in a high-risk catagory tho and have never been tested worries me!. HIV testing is usually available at local health departments and even Planned Parenthood for FREE!. And it can be done annonymously, so you don't have to give your real name!. The sooner that you get tested, the better, for several reasons!. First, regardless of the results, the stress of not knowing will be gone!. If you do get a positive result, the treatment regimine can begin, and thus lower your odds of developing AIDS!. Many health departments also offer a variety of assistance for HIV/AIDS patients as well, such as help with housing and food costs!. Having HIV is not the same as having AIDS, and you can actually go from having AIDS back to just being HIV positive if you take care of your body and stay on meds!. HIV is not the 'death sentence' it was 20 or even 30 years ago, and it is better to know for sure what your health condition is so that both the MRSA and the rashes can be properly treated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
