Why don't you give a link to this study before blindly posting your conspiracy theory bullshit!?

I don't eat terribly, I don't eat perfectly, but I don't blame my cancer on my diet or my healthy lifestyle!. I ran daily, my BMI is in the healthy range (a little on the low side, according to the doctor) and I shop at the local farmers market for most of my food!.

ANYONE can get cancer, despite where they shop, what they eat or what their daily habits are!.

You blame cancer on being overweight, poor exercise and shopping at Wal-Mart!. You are one ignorant little douche!. You know that right!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Bad food doesn't give you cancer, it makes you fat!. As for why cancer rates may be rising, it's probably due to the increased desire for a tan, which causes people to get skin cancer!. People want to be darker without considering that the darker you are, the worse shape you skin is in!. Cancer has almost nothing to do with your overall health habits; it's almost completely genetic (except for skin cancer, which I already mentioned)!. Also!.!.!. I've never heard the term "fat sheep"!.!.!. a term I would use to describe such people (such as my grandmother, who constantly eats sugar and candy) would probably be cows, sea cows, whales, or manateesWww@Answer-Health@Com

Well you are right!.!.!.we need to loose weight and eat better!.!.!.but you are incorrect!.!.!.in that you have not linked!.!.!.!.being fat with the types of cancer!.!.!.

LUNG cancer is #1!.!.!.and that has nothing to do with eating!.

Anal Cancer could be eating (if hard stool) but may be linked to HPV!.!.!.or being receptive!.

Breast cancer!.!.!.not necessarily food related!.

Ovarian cancer risk goes down with more pregnancies!.!.!.so darn!.!.!.it's the birth control or maybe we don't do it because we are too fat and ugly!. ROTFL!.!.!.

So prove your point!.!.!.don't use quasi science!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

obesity is a risk factor for cancer as well as age!. so yes eating right will prevent you from getting obese and fat later on in llife and so therefore reduce your risk of that horrible desase!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

In a word, plastics!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The reason cancer appears to be more widespread is, ironically, better health care!.

Improved and more widespread routine screening means far more cases are diagnosed than before - including some which may have gone unnoticed for the person's whole life and caused them no problems!.

Most cancers are largely diseases of ageing - the overwhelming majority of those diagnosed with cancer are over 60!. Thanks to better health care, more babies are surviving infancy and more people living into old age!. Therefore more people are getting age-related cancers!.

And where does your figure of 1 in 33 come from!? Take breastcancer; breast cancer rates have not changed appreciably in the past 20 years!.

You don't think it's a tad arrogant, coming on to a board like this most of whose users have or have had cancer and acting as if you have information none of them have considered before, telling them to get over themselves!?

Cancer strikes the healthy and the unhealthy alike!. I understand that it's less frightening for people like you who haven't had cancer to 'blame the victim' by putting cancer down to avoidable lifestyle factors, rather than accepting that it's a largely random disease that can strike anybody at any time!.

I sort of used to feel like that myself - though I would never have been arrogant or insensitive enough to lecture cancer patients on something I knew next to nothing about!. I used to think my healthy, organic vegan diet, coupled with the facts that I exercised regularly, avoided caffeine and have never smoked, would probably protect me against cancer!. An advanced and aggressive tumour told me I was wrong!.

You get over yourself and learn some manners and some facts about cancer!. With one in three people getting it, your chances of getting cancer are high!. You won't appreciate lectures from ill-informed people, I promiseWww@Answer-Health@Com
