Small Bump In My Arm Pit Region?!

Question: Small Bump In My Arm Pit Region!?
every so often i get like a "lump" in my armpit region!. I normally i get it in the summer time for some reason!. It starts off small and slowly gets a little bigger and then dissapears!. I went to the doctor the last time i got 1 and he gave me this medication!. Although it did cause it to pop and go away, it did make the lump stay alot longer then when i did it without treatment!.

Im 17 and yes I am overweight and I sweat ALOT!. Does this have anything to do with it!? I know for a fact too that my arms and arm pit rub against each other alot!. Please dont tell me i have cancer or anything else that will scare me!. I just would like some answers

thank youWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It's either a boil, a cyst or an ingrown hair!. Basically, it sounds like your sweat glands are backing up and causing it to collect under the skin!. The more overweight you are, the more you will have these problems!. Also, the more overweight you are, the BIGGER they tend to get!.

There is really nothing for it except to leave it alone completely and let it go away!. People who are really fat get them and they can grow to be the size of a walnut!. Watch the weight!. They CAN get infected!. If they become painful, then go to the doctor and get it lanced (cut open) and drained!. They will also give you antibiotics!.

End result advice!? Leave it alone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is likely a plugged sweat gland, sort of like a pimple or cyst!. There's probably not a lot you can do to prevent it but keeping the area clean will help, as well as using hot compresses to help take down the swelling when they occur!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It might just be a boil!. Did he say what it was when you went to the Dr!? I wouldn't worry about it because he would have told you when you went that it was something bad!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you shave your armpits- it is a razor burn!. just put deodorant on it and it will get alot smaller!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
