What does low MCV MCH Mchc in blood test mean?!
Question: What does low MCV MCH Mchc in blood test mean!?
Hi i just received my blood test from the lab and wont be seeing the Dr till about 2 wks i need to find out what MCV MCH MCHC they all came out low 76!.2, 24!.1,31!.7 respectively pls what does it mean , Eosinophils also came out high 7!.4 can any explain pls!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could mean a number of things but the most likely cause is that you are deficient in iron!. Are you a menstruating woman, or is there any other obvious source of blood loss!? Are you taking anti-inflammatories or aspirin!? Have you had any rectal blood loss!? Are you a fussy eater who may not be getting enough iron in your diet!?
All of these possibilities would need to be considered!. Alternatives could be mild congenital abnormalities in your blood such as thalassemia or sickle trait!. Essentially you need to see your doctor and discuss possibilities with him!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
