Question: What could it mean if a 35 year old man who has COPD has coughed up blood!?
He's been smoking since he was 12, diagnosed with COPD a few months ago, smokes 4 to 8 cigarettes a day (according to him), has asthma to boot!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could mean he has some kind of infection!. Or if he has been coughing hard, he could have ruptured some small blood vessels in his lungs!. Too many possibilities check with a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
