Can fibrocystic breast conditions occur in only one breast?!
Question: Can fibrocystic breast conditions occur in only one breast!?
I found a lump which is bumpy feeling in my left breast!. I think I've actually had it a few years but am just now starting to really think about it!. It is slightly tender in this area which is located in the bottom outer quadrant!. It feels firm, lumpy, and I think it is moveable when I press along the edges!. I also can feel small lumps that feel like cysts or ducts or something on the top of this same breast, but they do not hurt at all!. The lump at the bottom feels similar to the lumps up top, but firmer and much closer together in the same area making a mass!. The rest of the breast is free of lumps and the other breast does not have any lumps or tenderness at all!. Can fibrocystic conditions occur in only one breast and be designated mostly in one area of the breast rather than all over!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
Answers:
They can be in either side or both sides!. In my case they hurt more during ovualtion!. In any case though they should always be checked by your Doctor just in case!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
The answer to your question is yes and generally will happen during the ovulation cycle!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
yes!. but if it something that is really starting to bother you go to your GYN to put your mind at easeWww@Answer-Health@Com
Cysts tend to have smooth borders, tumors tend to have irregular borders!. The border exists in 3 dimensions, meaning if it feels bumpy, it has an irregular border!. Get it checked out immediately!.
EDIT: This is a dangerous game you're playing!. You can't diagnose this yourself!. I tried!. I delayed seeing a doctor for months!. This allowed my tumor -- which I *thought* was a cyst -- to spread to my lymph nodes!. Go see the doctor!. If I'm wrong, you can say "I told you so!."Www@Answer-Health@Com
