Ok so this question may sound a bit gross but I am worried about it so I needed to ask!
So for the past few day when I blow my nose I get like bloody boogers, but only from one nostril, the other nostril is fine!. Especially in the morning, when I was clearing my throat while doing brush, blood came out with mucus!.
It is summer by the way, so what could be the reason and what can I do to heal it!?
Again sorry I know this is like really disgusting, but I really appreciate whoever answers!

As gross as it seems, it's an indicator that you have a sinus infection or are on the verge of catching a cold!. Since this happens moreso in the mornings, I'd say that your sinuses are drying out during the night and causing your problem!. You can purchase an OTC sinus medication or see your ENT and have them diagnose the situation and give you a script or advise you what the best course of action would be to clear it up!. I wouldn't suggest nasal sprays, btw!.

I have severe allergies and live in Denver where the climate is very dry!. I get bloody boogers like every day!. What my asthma/allergy specialist suggested was those sinus rinses, or a netti-pot (can be purchased at any drug store), and if I do that daily, my nose is fine!. Also, when it is feeling REALLY dry, I will literally stick neosporin up there to moisturize!. But you should not be worried--the problem is easily fixed!
p!.s the person who said get a humidifier is totally right--not a bad idea at all, although I found that through daily sinus rinsing I didn't need my humidifier anymore!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Blood in your mucous is normal, especially if you're on the verge of a cold, sinus infection or allergies!. Also, if your air is very dry, like you're using a lot of a/c, that will make your nose bleed a little too!. Don't worry about it, get a humidifier!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
