Bruising occures when damaged capillaries (blood vessels) near the skin leak blood into the surrounding tissue!. your natural defences deal with this very quickly but cause the discolouration over a period of time!. One of the best ways to reduce the effects of bruising is ice as cold causes blood vessels to contract limiting blood flow and, in the case of damaged capillaries, blood loss!. You can't get rid of bruises - they are caused by bleeding under the skin, and it takes a while for the blood to break down!. There are no home remedies to speed up the the processes that breakdown the hemaglobin, which is what causes the discoloration!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
ITs painful, but if you take your finger and plunge it down right on the bruise HARD, it breaks up the color and makes it less noticeable!. Once, my sister had a bruise on her leg and her best friend poked it hard with her thumb, and that day it was gone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
