it happens to the best of us! Your not alone, really!. I used to have clear skin untill grade 9!. I use proactive and i find it works very well!. Although it doesnt work for my sister!. If thats the case for you go to a dermatoligist and they will give you a medication!.

1!. as for hormones here is what happens!. when you hit puberty your hormones cause the oil glands in the skin to mature as well!. They go into over load!. there is a oil called Androgen which opens the follicles in the skin!. Another oil from the gland called sebum (the oil that makes skin soft and water proof) moves up the hair shaft and collects in the follicles that are open!. It mixes with normal skin bacteria and dead skin cells!. The dead skin cells normally get pushed to the top causing a pimple!. A black head is when the dead skin cells are not pushed to the top!. all becuase our glands are producing too much of this oil!.

2!.As for dirt!. You may not be able to see it but when you go around shopping or just go to school and touch things you collect the dirt/bacteria from them!. then you unconciously touch your face and put it all in to the vonerable open pores!. So dirt wont create acne it will contribute to it!. Just try to keep your hands off your face is the best advice here!.

3!.Makeup can cause some people to break out if its high in oil!. The best way to avoid this is to not wear it at all (like yourself) or to buy the products that say dematoligist tested or recomended!. That way know they wont contrubute to acne!. Also if you go to the dermatoligist they will give you anmes of good products to use!. they may be expensive but there the best stuff possible!.

4!.Hair that is dirty and oilly will contribute to acne because when it touches the face it puts all the dirt ond oil onto the face!. Try to keep your hair away from your face!. hair is a very dirty part of you body seeing as you sweat on it, so really tie it back!. I like to when i sleep so it doesnt get in my face when i turn!.

5!.Like i said earlier i found that proactive really worked well!. I like to exfoliate every once in a while!. exfoliationg is a face cleanser that has little graining things in it that lift dead skin cells and dirt fron pores!. You can get olay exfoliaters as well as in like very brand!. I use the saint ives cream that goes on as a creme substance and turns like a light rubberish substance!. when you peel it off (it doesnt hurt) it lift dead cells off your face leaving it feel lighter and refreshed!.

hope this helps!! and dont worry all teens go through this!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, I don't know how old you are, but if you're not going through puberty, and not pregnant, you may have gotten a bacteria on your face called propionobacterium acnes that can cause acne!. You can try over the counter stuff that has benzoyl peroxide in it and if that doesn't work see your doctor because it could be something else or you could need a prescription med!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Often issues that we have with our skin stem from something internal!. An unhealthy gut can lead to unhealthy skin!. Do you experience any digestive disorder symptoms!? You may have a sensitivity/allergy to a food you are eating!. The number one food allergins in this order are: Dairy, Egg, wheat (gluten), soy, nuts!. Try eliminating one from your diet for 3 weeks and see if symptoms improve!. If that doesn't work, try eliminating another!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hormones are the most likely cause!. You can try prescriptions medication or creams, birth control that helps acne, or try Proactiv!. I swear by that stuff!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Acne can be inherited!. I have had acne since I was about 15 and I still have it now and I'm 19!. Usually, it is due to hormone changes and it will go when your body adjusts to it but for some unfortunate people, like myself, it doesn't go and you have to use hundreds of creams, face washes and medication to try to get rid of it! Okay, not hundreds but you have to find what is right for you!. Dirt doesn't cause acne and there's also no scientific evidence (yet) that diet does either!. If you plaster make-up on, it can aggravate acne, because your skin can't breathe and your pores are clogged but as you said you don't do this, I'm pretty certain that make-up wouldn't be causing your pimples!. Lay off the make-up completely if you're worried!. I think if your hair is greasy or always on your face (like you have bangs or something) it can aggravate already existing acne but it doesn't cause it!. This is probably just typical teenage acne!. Start off by buying perhaps a tea-tree face wash and perhaps some Benzoyl Peroxide cream!. See how that goes!. If your acne is persistent or gets worse!. See your doctor and they can prescribe you creams and medication, such as Tetracycline!. Drink lots of water and eat more fruits and veggies!. Be patient, I'm sure this is just normal teenage pimples!. Good luck!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
