How does hersprungs disease happened?!

Question: How does hersprungs disease happened!?
Answers:
I thing you are referring to Hirchsprung's disease !.This is a congenital dilatation of the large bowel that is presnt in some children from birth!. In them the the large bowel goes on dilating due to a congenital weakness of the smooth muscle of the bowel wall leading to constipation!.
The congenital defect occurs in about 1 in 5000 births!.
The nerve cells which supplty the smooth muscle in the wall of part of the colon have not developed!.
When the child is born he may not show symptoms or may show constipation for 2 to 3 days after birth!.
With growth the faeces formed in the large bowel goes on accumulating leading to gradual dilatation of it!.
The only treatment is excision of that portion of the bowel and connecting up the healthy portions!.
