Some people are extra sensitive to touch!. When we are touched it stimulates our nerves contact our brain to tell them we are being touched!. If we touch fire, the nerves say 'Ouch Im touching hot suff'!. If we receive a hug our nerves contact our brain which decided we like it, or if its off the wrong person dont like it!.
Now people who are hypersensitive usually do not like being touched lightly!. People who have been diagnosed as hypersensitive have described light touching as being like needles prodding there skin, ie uncomfortable!. However, they may perfectly like deep pressure such as hugging or massage!. The opposite to this is hyposensitive!. A common occurence with people who have autismWww@Answer-Health@Com
