Question: I have a weird rash could it be an allergic reaction!? GIRLS ONLY!?
Whenever I am on my period, a few days after it starts I get a weird rash around my vagina (not on or in just around)!. I use pads with wings, could it be an allergic reaction to the material!? I used to be allergic to disposable diapers as a child if that helps!. And no I don't want to use tampons because they hurt me! Could this be an allergy!?!?

Sounds like overly-sensitive skin!. Sounds silly, but bring out the A&D ointment!. Start using it as soon as you get your period, and before you put on your first pad!. If the rash doesn't appear, then you're sensitive to something in the pad, or it could be simple chafing!. You might want to try old-fashion Kotex pads, especially at night!.

it's not neccessarily an allergic reaction, but could really be "diaper rash"!. make sure your pads are scent free and they're just regular!. make sure you clean with gental soap and water and dry well!. make sure you change your pads frequently enough, at least every 3-4 hours or less if they fill faster!. make sure you're pants aren't too tight and restricting because friction does NOT help!. as well as your underwear!.!.!. stick with plain ol' cotton!. you can use baby powder in between changes to help keep your skin dry!. if it's still happing try switching brands, even to a cheap brand to see how it'll work!. you can also try a cortisone cream!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
