Do you have to be sexually active to get HPV diseases/cervical cancer!? I'm 15 and I'm supposed to get Gardasil!. I want to hold it off for a few more years because I heard it hurts and I hate needles!. But my doctor insists I get it because I might have sex!. But I never had sex and I don't plan to anytime soon, especially during high school!

If you don't plan on being sexually active anytime soon, I'd say hold off on it!. It is a new drug and people have NO IDEA what kind of long term side effects it could have!. Hell, it could make you infertile or cause different kinds of cancer in the long run!. We don't know!. Don't let your doc pressure you if you're not at risk!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
