Lay low for a while?!
Question: Lay low for a while!?
CAN I WORK AS A DIALYSIS TECH IN NEW YORK!?( NURSE BUT NOT REGISTERD IN NY)Www@Answer-Health@Com
Answers:
The answer is yes, but not legally!. Most hospitals, large clinics, etc!. will ask for your nursing license when you apply (or at some point before you're hired)!. Because of the nursing shortage, though, many small facilities will hire first and check credentials later!. I once worked for nearly 2 years before someone mentioned to me that they didn't have a copy of my license on file -- and I had a valid license, they evidently just hadn't asked for it and I hadn't thought to offer it!. You'll probably need to apply at several places, and you will lose your position when they indeed find out you aren't current!. I wouldn't tell anyone who found out that I had deliberately deceived them -- you could lose your license altogether for that!. But as long as you're "ignorant" of the fact and working on getting licensed in NY, you can probably work at lots of jobs, at least temporarily!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
New York requires a Renal Dialysis technician to be licensed!.I believe this is a relatively short course and because you are a nurse already it would be a lot easier for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
