Tourette's Syndrome- Risperidone... doctors please??!

Question: Tourette's Syndrome- Risperidone!.!.!. doctors please!?!?
My little brother has Tourette's and takes Risperidone for it twice a day!. He missed 4 days of his medication because of medco!.com that failed to send it on time!. He began again three days ago, but his symptoms are much much worse now!. While they were almost non-existent before, they are completely disrupting his life now!.

My question- is this sudden outbreak of symptoms due to the "break" from medication a few days ago!? Or is it impossible that the 4-day-break 3 days ago can affect today's symptoms!? Most importantly, should the symptoms improve now that he's back on it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Tourette's syndrome is a neurological disorder characterized by involuntary tics, shouting nonsense and often compulsive utterance of obscene things
The purpose of drugs like Risperidone is to control the psychotic condition but it may be unable to produce a complete cure!.
A rapid relapse of the symptoms usually occurs after a sudden withdrawal!.
The 4 day break 3 days ago could strongly affect today's symptoms!.
Normally Risperidone is a drug given to those who cannot be controlled by the commoner drugs!. I believe that
your brother's symptoms would improve soon, if not his present state should be brought to the notice of the doctor!.

If there is no improvement within 24 hours he should be taken to the doctor!.

He may decide on an injection as an immediate measure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
