Vaccines/cures?!
Question: Vaccines/cures!?
why is it that we have vaccines for some diseases but we dont have curesWww@Answer-Health@Com
Answers:
Vaccines are simply dead or weakened serums that are injected into the bloodstream of a human!. When injected, parts of the virus signal your immune system to make antibodies and memory B cells!. The memory B cells constantly flow through the bloodstream, and when the real virus inhabits the host, the B cells are able to produce antibodies right away and fight off any infection!. A vaccine is a way to prevent a disease (a viral one) from further infecting the host!. A cure is essentially the same thing; however, a cure may work even if the person is infected with the disease at the time--whereas in that situation a vaccine would be simply useless!. Vaccines are also composed of the virus itself, but a cure would be composed of other materials that would stop the infection at any time in its progression!. A vaccine is a type of acquired immunity--while a cure creates all immunity within any stage!. I hope that answers your question!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Vaccinating someone is exposing them to a small, ineffective amount of the actual virus so that their body's immune system can learn to fight it off!. So having a vaccine just means you have a small dose of the disease (and are confident the body can fight it off) and doesn't really go hand in hand with having a cure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
