I've had several piercings since my diagnosis in '92-- some piercers didn't even ask & the others went ahead even after I told them!. One piercer remarked "Many people have blood borne illness-- most don't tell us so we act like everyone does for the good of us all!"
Likewise for tattooists-- as long as you heal reasonably well it shouldn't be a problem!.
Assuming you have checked out your body artist's hygeine habits and you are feeling healthy, I'd say go!.
If, however, you are on medical therapy for the Hep C I would say wait until that is done and you are stronger-- those meds can kick your immune system's butt! No sense in complicating your life further!.

Most piercers will choose not to pierce you!. You fill out a waiver before you get pierced and that is one of the questions!. Its really just up to the piercer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
