Ok, I understand that this is going to be hard for you and you just want to help but, speaking from experience, its not easy
DO!.!.let her know your there for her, you love her and you just want her to get better
DONT!.!.pretend like you know what shes going through!.!.because unless you;ve suffered from an eating disorder there is no possible way you can relate to how shes feeling
DONT and i seriously mean this!.!.!.don't think that you can solve this yourself, as much as you want to, she needs real help
talk to her about it, try and listen to what she says, get her to trust you, get her to talk about how shes feeling, DONT pressurise her!.!.!.shes most likely in an emotionally fragile state right now and whilst eating disorders revolve around food, there is a lot more to it than that
can i add, from personal experience that trying to shock an anorexic into recovery will not work,no matter how many times you may tell her shes killing herself, no matter how much you tell her you want her to get better!.!.shock tactics and guilt trips isnt enough to cure this
talk to her parents, or a teacher or someone that both you and her can trust and are comfortable talking to, the last thing she will want is a bunch of people bombarding her with questions so make sure its someone who will handle this carefully
i wish you all the luck in the world, please please please don't give up on her, she needs you right nowWww@Answer-Health@Com

You need to tell her parent(s)/guardian right away!. They could get her help!. Don't just let it go, because eating disorders can have lasting effects!.

This is a quote from one of those websites about what to do that I found useful:
"But under no circumstances try to 'treat' the anorexia sufferer yourself!. It is essential to seek professional medical help at the earliest possible opportunity!.

Having spoken at length with several anorexia patients, the best advice I can offer in dealing with an individual anorectic is as follows: (1) Don't lecture her, it makes things worse! Instead, listen to her!. (2) Try to be patient! Remember, she doesn't see things like you do!. (3) No matter how provocative her behavior, try to be there for her!. Easier said than done, I know, but it's the only way to bridge her sense of isolation!. (4) If she puts on weight, don't mention her improved appearance!. Mention something else, like her improved confidence!."Www@Answer-Health@Com

If she eats lunch/supper it isn't that bad!. Just be there for her and show her lotsa love, try sneaking in extra calories in her food if you can- it's for her own good!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you dont need help: she does!.!.!. talk to her about the disease!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
