What do male herpes look like?!
Question: What do male herpes look like!?
Recently my husband had three 'sores' on his penis that were closely grouped!. They looked real swollen, a little discolored (looked like a possible infection of the sores to me)!. He said that he thought he might of nicked himself when trying to shave and that they were irritating!. About a week later I seen them again and there were several scabs ( more than just the three) and spread within an inch!. Some scabs looked bigger than others!. They looked nothing like shaving nicks!. He told me that it could be from his penis chafing or getting irritated from friction and his boxers!. Is this possible!? Has any man out there experienced this!? I asked him if he cheated and he said he didn't and promised!. He said that if it happened again he would go get checked!. Shouldn't he get checked now to be safe!? I want him to go get checked, but I don't want to do it in a accusing way because I don't know what it is!. I do not know how to approach him the right way about it!. Any input!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like it could be herpes!. Typically herpes come in clusters like that!. He should go get it checked out!. Don't have sex with him while they are there until he finds out what they are!. I've heard that herpes can lay dormant for years and the person may not know they have it!. How long have you been married!? He very well could have got it before he met you or he could have cheated on you, either way!. He needs to go get checked!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Genital Herpes look like cold sores from any where between the genitals and the penis!. Irratation from boxers would not do that!. Herpes can be in small groups and they do scab over!. My advice is yes both of you go and get checked for not just herpes but other STDs!. It is always better safe then sorry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It sounds like herpes!. But dont be accusing yet!. If either of you get cold sores then you could of passed it to him or he could of passed it to himself!. If i were you I would suggest you both get tested!. Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
Look for a white watery discharge from his penis thats one of the symptoms for herpes but it could be anything else like syphillis or chlamydia!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Did you say it happened ONCE - and spread a little or happened TWICE!?
If it happened once, it could be a little yeast infection from you, zits, shaving rash or ingrown hairs from shaving
BUT twice - in the same area is likely herpes!.!.!.
and it doesn't mean he cheated - it could be something he's had for years & years and didn't know!. Alot of people describe the outbreaks as looking like CUTS or a small patch of blisters - and sometimes ulcer-looking!.!.!. so it's really not the same for everyone & hard to diagnose on here!.!.!.just notice if it happens again - and in the same spot

my exbf said the same thing to me!! He told me he knicked himself with a razor and another time told me it was from masturbating and irritating the skin!. Turned out it was herpes!. I gave it to him to be honest!. He knows i had the virus when we first met but he ended up catching it probably a year or so later!. It was small and open and then it had a scab!. He also thought it was an ingrown hair but when i looked at it, i knew he had it!. I told him and he started taking valtrex!. My other bf from 5 years ago who originally gave me the virus used to have a small red pimple looking bump on his shaft and i always wondered what that was!. It was also herpes but i didnt think anything of it and he never said anything to me!. When i broke out, he acted like he didnt know he had it and blamed it on someone else which made me pissed b/c i hadnt slept with anyone new in over six years! I dont want to get you upset or anything, but a razor tick doesnt cause scabs like that and you dont get several sores clustered together!. Im pretty sure he has herpes!. They cant always detect it either so if he goes for testing it may come out negative!. I had to get my sores "swabbed" in order to diagnose herpes so depending where you live, he may not get tested with blood work!. I know they dont offer the blood work here but ive heard there is now blood work to detect herpes!. Your husband is probably really worried now that you noticed something was wrong and i dont want to assume he cheated but how else would he have caught it!? I think the guy i originally caught it from cheated on me and gave it to me!. but of course he said he didnt!. Deep down inside your gut instincts are usually right!. Have you had sex with him yet!? If you have and you end up breaking out then you know he cheated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
