Meningitis vaccine?!
Question: Meningitis vaccine!?
Last Thursday my sister and I received the meningitis vaccine, and her arm was sore for a day or two but mine was not!. Yesterday my upper arm started aching insanely and it's getting worse!. Is this something to worry about!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

The US CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) list the following as possible reactions to the meningococcal vaccine - an excellent and effective vaccine now routinely recommended to all young adults who will be living in close proximity such as college dormitories and military barracks:
Adverse reactions:
Mostly mild injection site pain and redness
Brief fever in 5 percent
Severe allergic and neurological reactions: each <0!.1/100,000 (= less than one in a million)
You are now about 6 days past your shot!. I do not believe you have to worry about any ill effect from the vaccine!. I hbope you're soon relieved of your pain and feeling much better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
