Answers:
SPF, or sun protection factor, indicates the time a person can be exposed to sunlight before getting sunburn with a sunscreen applied relative to the time they can be exposed without sunscreen!. So a person who would burn in 10 mins would burn after 100 mins wearing SPF 10!.

Of course, this depends on skin type, frequency of application, how much has been absorbed, and if it has been washed/sweated off!.

I have found that SPF 30 is the best for me when I'm doing beach volleyball (though I am darker skinned) and anything higher doesn't do anything different!. Just remember to wear a broad spectrum sunscreen that covers UVA and UVB rays!Www@Answer-Health@Com
