Question: Raising money for someone dying of Cancer!? Anyone have some ideas!?
I was wondering if anyone knew of any ideas to raise some money for a friend who is dying of Cancer!. She has less than 3 months to live and everybody feels helpless!. She is 35 years old and has 2 small children!. Since her husband needs time off of work to help with chemo, his boss has demoted him to a commission based position which obviously isn't enough to feed a family of 4!. He can't seek other employment now because he needs to be available for his wife!. Everyone is overwhlemed with the chores, keeping up with the kids, and her dying!. Ideas have been tossed around as far as bartering services on Craigslist!. Nothing tangible though!. Does anyone have any clue on how we can raise money for someone who has such a short time to live so that short time doesn't have to be so miserable!. Thank you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sometimes the oncological social worker who works with patients like this may be able to offer some ideas about what is available locally for this family!. You can contact them by calling the hospital or the clinic !. !. some work at the doctors office too !. !. call around!.
If at all possible there are wish foundations for adults too !. !. so that the family may enjoy this time together !. !.

When my cousin was dying from pancreatic cancer a year ago, we had a spaghetti feed (dinner) and silent auction!. He left a young wife with 4 children behind!. They had it at a local fire hall and all the items for the silent auction were donated!. They actually raised over $15,000!.00 to help the family!. Bless you for helping your friend!. We need more folks like you! ( I myself am seeing a surgeon the 1st part of August as they believe I have the start of lung cancer) God bless!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
have a big outside picinic on a nice day with a dj and have food <pay 4> and a auction and silent acution! have a bake sale and ull make plenty! for the acutions have local places donate things if u google it youll find some things!. just make it be a fun time! it will keep great memories!

Organize a community wide yard sale!.!.!.have a spaghetti dinner held at a church or park center!.!.!.talk to local business owners to see if they will donate items for an auction!.!.!.host a dance night at a local club!. Sometimes a band or DJ will do this free if they know it's a benefit!. You will need to advertise these events to let the community and surrounding areas know of your intentions!. You will be surprised how many people will come out to support a cause like this!.
Contact the American Cancer Society and see if they have any suggestions on how to assist this family during this difficult time!.
