They tried to put me on Glucophage, but I stopped and changed my diet to a slightly modified Atkins for Diabetics!. A1C and daily glucose levels are not good now, but EXCELLENT! Very happy!. No meds!. No funny business!. Only side effect, losing excess weight and feeling fantastic!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yes, since Nov 2006!. Started out with HbA1C of 12!.1 and daily finger prick tests of 600+!. Now my last HbA1C was 5!.5 and daily finger prick test is 110/85!. I take meformin once a day 500mg!. I enjoy a little gas a side effect!.
