Question: Can Mono Be caught by swimming in pools!? QUICK!!?
My little neighbor has mono and she was swimming in my pool all day with my sister, spitting cause of the water in her mouth!. Can my sister get mono cause she was swimming in the pool with her!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

the chlorine could kill it but its possible that she could get a viral illness- that is what mist people who catch 'mono" get- a slight sore throat and maybe a low grade fever!. Very rarely do people develop the lare swollen glands and prolonged illness or "Mono"!. Also it is possible that she spread the virus to her while outside the pool just exchanging secretions!.
So my advice would be have your siser get plenty of rest, drink plenty of liquids and if she gets a prolonged sore throat or fever- contact her Pediatrician!. Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
