Lump in my neck?!
Question: Lump in my neck!?
my doctor has found a lump in my neck and i was sent to get a cat scan but i still havnt get the results, not knowing what i have is killing me, if anyone knows anything about this type of thing please write back soon ill appreciate any comments, thanx!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had a lump on my neck, behind my ear and it turned out to be a parotid gland tumor!. But that is not to say that is what you are going to have!. It could be a cyst or just an inflamed lymph node!. One thing is for sure!.!.!.!. waiting for test results can be scary and nerve wracking to say the least!. Just hang in there, read a book, watch TV or go for a walk to take your mind off of it!. Trust me, I have lived most of my life waiting for test results, as I have had cancer several times over the past ten years!.

Well, first of all congrats to your doctor for doing something about it so quickly!. Seriously! I also had a lump in my neck and they kinda looked at it and poked in for 3 months until i was eventually diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma!. A whole 3 months for it to develop!! What age are you!?!? That will be quite significant in what it might be!. I was 15 when diagnosed, and its generally a young persons cancer!.
A lump in the neck can be so many things though, if its been there for less than 2 weeks its probably just an infection! They thought mine was something called "Cat Scratch Disease" or else TB! The list is endless!.
Whatever it is, I'm sure you'll do just fine!. Anything sinister that begins in the neck is generally quite easily treated!.!.!.hence I'm here 3 years on absolutely flying it and telling you about it! :)
