Do i have lyme disease?!
Question: Do i have lyme disease!?
I went to camp about 4weeks ago and got bit by a lot of ticks! I came home and about 4 days later I had-
-knee is sore
-headache
-sleepy
-tiny red spot where i got bit(not a rash)
- red spots around where i got bit
Now 4 weeks later all my symptoms are gone except for the red spots!.Do you think its Lyme disease!?Oh and also the last few days I have been feeling a little bit dizzy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Meghann: Ticks can carry lots of nasty things besides Lyme disease, so it would be worth paying attention to this!. Also, not everybody gets the bull's-eye rash, so red spots around the tick bite could be significant!.

It's not really likely!. Lyme disease has a very specific set of symptoms!. And you'd recognice the rash associated with a Lyme Disease infection!. Essentially, you'd have the red dot, with a ring of white around it, and then another ring of red around that, like a bullseye!. Also, you'd develop encephalitis, cardiopulmonary inflammation, fatigue, etc!. Essentially, you'd be unable to function!.!.!. and it's a chronic disease, so they wouldn't go away!. Also, the red spots could mean you still have tick parts in your body, depending on how you removed them!.!. you kinda need to burn them out, I've heard, as opposed to just pulling them off, as usually, they leave behind their mandibles or parts of their head when you do this!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Possible, but not likely!. Ticks carry all sorts of nasty things from venom to your random bacteria!. Still, you should see your doctor, show him your bite marks and say you got bitten by ticks and they haven't gone away!. Let him make the determination!.

Its very possible!. My mother in law got bit, thought since she didn;t have the bullseye rash she was fine!. Low and behold, she let it go for years and was finally diagnosed!. She now has seizures form it!. Don't let it go!. Go to the doctor ASAP!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
