Spreading of cold sores question?!


Question: Spreading of cold sores question!?
I heard cold sores are a virus that stay in ur body BUT is only!.!. "active" when u actually get cold sores on ur lips

I know they spread by contact BUT do they only spread when i have them on my lips!? (as in only spread when they're "active"!?)

Or do they spread anytime!? (even though i dont have any of them on my lips)!? This includes!.!.!. spreading it to ur partner as genital herpes!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you can only spread this herpes virus if you have a sore, this would included through oral sex as well as on the mouth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would be very careful, even if you do not have an outbreak it could spread with genital herpes!. There is a one daily medicine that you can take to reduce that risk and you can do so!. (And this is from what I get off from a commercial!. NO EXPERIENCE) but I also worked in the health field so I know a little about what I am saying!. If it is just a cold sore on the lips you still need to be careful because this is herpes simplex virus as well!. Talk to your doctor to find out what you need to do to lower these risk!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Cold Sores are herpes simples infection around the oral lips!. They appear when body Resistance is low, like when you have a flu!.Responds well to acyclovir ointment!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
