Ok, I suffered from threadworm when I was about six I think!.
What I did to confirm they were threadworms(wait for it)was to gently probe and retrieve the worms at the rectalentrance!.
The were clearly visible and NOT pleasnat!.
The female migrates down the colon in the evening ,(it was every night at the same time with me) to the rectal area to lay her eggs which gives rise to the itchiness!.
Trouble was in my day the cure was probably worse than the discomfort!.
It was a weeks treatment of a raspberry flavoured liquid!.
I can just taste it now!.
If you are uk based I thinkyou can get it over the counter !.Its a one shot cure which immobilises the worm and they then pass out naturally in the faeces!.
Pripsen/Vermox are two brand names available, both one shot ,now pleasantly flavoured medications!. Thank the lord!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

There isn't any other way really than going to the chemist and buying some ovex!. You can pick these little blighters up from toilet seats, if you have children at school it is quite possible that they have bought them home via school toilets!. Treat the whole family!.

If you have it, you will notice itching, especially during the night when you are in bed!. Remember, if you itch, you need to wash your hands thoroughly as they are highly contagious!.

Good luck :O)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think you would see them in your poo!. I had them when I was a child and it was gross, as there were all these tiny white worms wriggling in my p**!.
Could just be dry skin in that area!? You could use a moisturiser as skin there gets dry and itchy the same as the rest of your body if you use harsh cleansing products!. Or it could be piles, that you can get by straining too much when you go, but it isn't serious!.

Go to your doctor to get it checked!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
