Answers:
The liver produces a fluid called bile (horrible green stuff)!. It flows out of the liver down a little tubr called the bile duct and collects in the gall bladder!. When you eat a fatty meal, the gall bladder squeezes out some bile into your intestine and it helps digest the fat!. This is why fatty meals might give you a lot of pain from gallstones!.

When you get gall stones, this can block the bile duct or take up too much space in the gall bladder, and generally obstruct the normal flow of the bile!. The bile backs up into the liver and basically irritates the liver!. The irritation of the liver cells causes them to release certain enzymes (typically ALP and GGT with gallstones), which get into the blood and give you a high blood test result!. You might also get high levels of bilirubin, as this is a waste product that normally is got rid of in the bile!.

When the gallbladder is removed, the bile will be able to flow normally again and the cells will stop being irritated and the results should go back to normal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your extra weight is likely contributing to your elevated liver enzymes and gall bladder issues!. Cut way down on your intake of fat, especially after your gall bladder is removed and bump up your activity level!. Also, drink lots of fluids and follow any doctor advice!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The gallstones are probably blocking your bile duct!. That's what's causing the elevated liver enzymes!. After you get your gallbladder removed, the enzymes should return to normalWww@Answer-Health@Com
