Did I just have a panic/anxiety attack?!


Question: Did I just have a panic/anxiety attack!?
Im 16/female!. And for the past week Ive been eating less but healthier!. Ive also been exercising my but off!. However, last night I didn't have dinner!. I woke up today and I seriously thought I was going to die!. Ive never felt like this before: my heart was pounding out of my chest, I was dizzy and shaking and I felt sooo weak!. So I thought it was because I did'nt eat but things like that never happened to me!. Thus, I ate blueberries, a banana and cereal!. I was this close to calling the ambulance but luckily I fell back to sleep and woke up perfectly fine!. I still cant believe what just happened and what I felt!.

And yes I do get stressed once in a while and frustrated when I dont feel like Im losing weight (slow metabolism) or when I want to stuff my face when I know I cant!.

Will it happen again!? Why!?

Was it because I didnt eat!?

What foods should I eat to avoid these "occurences"!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

this isnt a panic attack!. you are malnourished and possibly dehydrated- you are essentially pushing your body to keep moving without any fuel for it to feed on!. if you keep skipping meals and exercising to the point where you are past your body's threshhold, you will continue to experience these episodes, and you will also be at risk for heart attack, respiratory infections, kidney failure, blindness, brain damage and death!. is losing weight THAT important you would risk your life!?! you are shaving years off your life and risking an early death by doing what youre doing- no matter how much you say you ate at the time, this episode you had shows that you are seriously malnourished!. what foods can you eat to avoid them!?! MORE!. you need to eat very frequently every day, and this goes double for anyone who is obsessively exercising!. if you thought that was scary, wait until the REAL problems start to arise- there have been 16, 17 and 18 year old girls who were so malnourished they've experienced heart attacks and died!. you should realize that your body is beautiful no matter what any stupid magazine says!. healthy does not mean eating fruit twice and day and exercising 2 hours+ everyday- healthy is eating NUTRITIOUS foods often (and this means you must get ALL the nutrients your body needs every day; fruit and grains have only a fraction of what you need-by themsleves, they by no means make up a healthy diet), and exercising at the most 45 minutes a day (at 16 years old, id recommend every other day or 3 days a week)!. the less you eat, the more your body will turn on itself!. without food, your metabolism will decrease, and your body will essentially begin consuming itself, which is when it begins to virtually shut down!. you are too young to bear this pressure- i hope you do come to your senses and realize that what you are doing is hurting you and ultimately, your family!. good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

I would make an appointment with a doctor!. It could be a wide variety of things!. Did it go away after you ate!? You said you went back to sleep!. Also, maybe you are not eating enough and really exercising too much to lose weight!. If it happens again and you are eating OK, you should go get it checked!. If it just happened once like that, it might have been because you haven't eaten!. You must eat 3 meals a day! and snacks! good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Although those are symptoms of panic attacks, it sounds more like low blood sugar to me!. you should not skip eating, especially since you are working out!. You need to eat healthy and do not over exercise, that will only make you feel worse!. If you have another episode, I would ask your parents to take you to the doctor!. These symptoms are not something to just brush aside!. The doctor can best determine what is causing this and even help you with a suggested diet and exercise program!. yep you did sorry to say!.!.!.!.!.i've had it before but worse my eyes blanked out and the same things you had!.!.!.the reason i did was because i got stung by a bee!.What you need to do if you have on if put a cool washcloth on your forehead a rest for a while and drink alot of water!Www@Answer-Health@Com
