Question: Does it sound like I have a UTI!?
On Saturday night, I urinated and it wasn't too painful (a little maybe), but for 2 hours afterwards, I had excruciating burning pain in my urethra that caused shakes and sweats!. This is normally my first symptom of UTI (have had them before)!. I took cranberry pills and bladder pain pills!. The next day, it was burning pretty bad when I urinated and for a while afterwards!. I also had to go frequently!. I took 6 cranberry pills and by that night, I was feeling some better!. On Monday morning, I was feeling almost 100%, but I went to the doctor!. She took a sample and it was negative, but she's sending it off for a culture to be sure!. I felt pretty good yesterday, but this morning when I woke up, I urinated and it burned horribly for an hour afterwards!. I've had to go this morning, but I'm afraid to do it!. I have a slight burning in my urethra all the time now!. I called the doctor and she wants to wait on the culture!. Help! If it's not a UTI, what could it be!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

it sounds like a uti!. it could be a std but i do not think so!. take the cranberry pills all the time i get uti all the time and when i start to get it i take 6 like you did and after hour after that i - 1 pill so if at 5 i take 6!. at 6 i would take 5 and 7 i would take 4 so on and so on then take 1 every day till i get it again!. take it with 8 oz of water it should be gone in no time flat!. i get them at lease every 2 months!. and the doctors tell me to do this if not gone in a day then come see them or if i comes back in the week most the time it works!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It sounds like a UTI but it could be a host of other infections as well!. Have your doctor check and make sure you don't have another infection if its not a UTI!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
