There is no such thing as a non allergenic cat!.
People don't have an allergy to the hair, but proteins from sweat, saliva, and urine that gets on the skin/hair of animals!.
There have been over 10 different proteins in cat that people can be allergic to (called Fel D 1,2,3,!.!.!.and so on)!.
The hypoallergenic cloned cat that sells for $20,000 or whatever it is, has the Fel D 1 protein removed!. The other 9 proteins are still there!.
A hairless cat still has all the allergy proteins there- it's just that they are easier to clean so you can more easily remove the allergy proteins from its skin!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A majority of people with allergies are able to live with a Sphynx!. Approximately 90% of our kittens are placed in homes where allergies are an issue and we have not had any returned yet!. This has been a very positive indicator for us! But it really depends on the individual, the severity of their allergies, and whether their environment is kept clean!. It is HIGHLY advisable to visit a breeder or Sphynx owner for a 'test cuddle' in order to give you some answers, but keep in mind that some reactions take a period of time to occur!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
