Hi, I have genital warts and for the first time in a long time I am interested in someone!. I am scared to tell him but I know I have to I just don't know when the right time is!? We've only been talking for about 2 wks every other day!. He knows just every other negative thing because I wanted to be honest right away!.!.!.about depression and child with Touretts' Syndrome!. I don't want to lose him before I get a chance to be with him!. I am really scared and a part of me is afraid to meet him because I know how I am!.!.!.I'll tell him!. I suggest that if and when you and this person start discussing being together, or when you start kissing, stop and tell him you want to talk about possible STD's that either of you may have!. Remember that many people lie about having an STD, so you can't always believe them!.
But for yourself you need to come right out with it and state what you have and how your potential partner can protect themselves!. Don't be afraid!. If he leaves because of this, then it is better for you to know before you get too involved emotionally!.

I don't think I would tell a guy before things got!.!. hot and heavy!.!. if you know what I mean!. Until there is any touching below the belt (or any obvious desire to go there), he does not need to know!. This is your chance to show him your personality!.!. without him knowing about the infection!. Of course, don't wait TOO long!.!. i!.e!. over six months would be cruel to him!.
