And you're very lucky that you noticed it!.!.!. alot of folks do not believe they have herpes because they only saw one outbreak!.
A recurrance can assure someone that herpes is what they have,
but a recurrance isn't SURE TO HAPPEN!. (wow - I hope that made sense)
You obviously have a very good immune system and take very good care of yourself (congrats on that!) and that is keeping outbreaks away!.
If you have very high stress or alot of sun exposure someday in the future - it could recurr 10+ years from now - so still keep eyes peeled for it to protect your partner!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's possible that your immune system could suppress the virus for a long time but I think you can expect some other outbreaks over your lifetime!. As well, you can still be contagious on some occasions when "viral shedding" may occur, though rarely, an outbreak may not happen!.
Perhaps someone who was diagnosed a long time ago can give you a better idea of what to expect but it would only be her/his experience; your immune system and certain "triggers" in your life will dictate outbreaks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes that is a possiblility!. i have only had 2 really severe out breaks over the more then 1 year that i discovered i have herpes!. if u have a strong immune system u could only have one out break and never see one again!. but some people don't even know what an out break is or feels like, so they wouldn't know that they were having one and some people only have mild symptoms and out breaks!.
u don't really need medicine for herpes!. meds help heal out breaks and suppress the virus!. they can prevent out breaks from happening, and taking meds make it less possible for u to pass herpes onto a partner that u are sexually involved with!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is actually quite common for people to have one, initial outbreak and then never get another one - or for it to be years until they get the next one!.
This is one reason why people believe that they have been "cured" of herpes, or why people don't realize that they have herpes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
