Sounds like you may be hypoglycemic if your score is that low!. Do you ever find yourself getting dizzy or sweating for no apparent reason!? I think you should keep some glucose tabs on hand for emergency lows!. Get to a doctor and have the testing done so you can get on the right track with your sugars and stay healthy for years to come!.

This chart gives the averages for the blood sugars over 3 months time and it starts at 5 as normal!.

Average Plasma Blood Glucose A1C Result
100 mg/dL 5%
135 mg/dL 6%
170 mg/dL 7%
205 mg/dL 8%
240 mg/dL 9%
275 mg/dL 10%
310 mg/dL 11%
345 mg/dL 12%Www@Answer-Health@Com

4 is low, but as long as you're not bottoming out all the time and are comfortable with the sugars you're having, that's fine!. It's better to be low than high!. What's on the other side of the decimal point!? A 4!.9 is really good and a 4!.0 would be pretty low!. The standard answer is that you should aim to be under 7!. So good job!Www@Answer-Health@Com

4 is excellent!! You're definately not diabetic!.

I've had type 1 diabetes for a little over a year now, and my last a1c was 7!.2!. Just got it done today!.

Pretty happy with that, its normal for diabetics!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Anything between 4-7 is good!. Anything higher than 7, bad!. :) you're perfect!Www@Answer-Health@Com

my doctor says under 6 is good!. mine was 5!.9 and she said that was awesome after only 6 months!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
