Anxiety: How to manage? Doctor?!

Question: Anxiety: How to manage!? Doctor!?
I'm having some sort of anxiety attacks, especially in the mornings!. My heart hurts, my veins seem like they are pumping fast, I'm shaky, & my arms feel weak!. This feeling comes & goes throughout the day!. I can still carry on with most of my daily activities, but it's starting to affect whether I go out & do certain things because I don't feel well!.

After how long should I see a doctor about this!?
I just started a new birth control, could it have anything to do with that!?
Any suggestions on how to help calm this physical reaction!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Sounds more like what is referred to as a thyroid storm!. Have your thyroid check!. I felt the same and I take Cymbalta and a thyroid med!. Have them check your T3 T4 and TSH levels!. Insist on it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Definitely sounds like panic attacks!. First know that these will not kill or harm you!. As soon as you feel one coming on, immediately focus your mind on something that calms you (a memory of a sunset or run your hand under warm gentle water, etc!.)!. I would also make an appointment to see your doctor!. It's very possible that the birth control pills are throwing your hormones all out of whack too!. Good luck - it's going to be ok!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Go see a psychiatrist!. Not your regular doctor and talk to the psychiatrist!. There are some great medications now for anxiety and panic attacks!.
I am on Prozac and Klonopin and feel great, now that the Prozac is in my system!. The Klonopin was there while the Prozac was getting into my system!.
It make take awhile to find the correct medication and dosing for you, so dont give up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
