Indoor air pollution testing for rental property?!

Question: Indoor air pollution testing for rental property!?
I'm concerned about the air quality in my home!. I rent the first floor of an old multi-family house!. I'm allergic to dust and what I imagine might be mold, although I have seen no evidence of mold!. I have no other idea what could be causing me to be itchy, irratible, and a bit congested!. (I try to keep the dust at bay)

I dying to know what the air quality is in my house but I'm worried that if I pay to get a professional in here (in addition to costing me) I feel it may alter the relationship with my landlord!. I want to know without necessarily having the EPA on their butts!.

I have been reading about home test kits and from reading online, seems like they are not very useful!. Any suggestions!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
To get a good test kit, you have to use a commercial type!. An example is given in the reference!. Bottom line, if you live in an old house there will be dust!. There will be mold!. The catch is how much and the fact there are no standards for homes!.

If you really want an answer, you will have to hire a professional (second reference)!. Just like "home heart attack" kits don't work, same here!. If you talk with the company, they can schedule it when the landlord is not there and the report will be confidential between you and them!. EPA would never be called unless you call them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
