My bellybutton had a scab-ish looking thing inside (since i rarely mess with it) and i decided to pick at it!.!. a couple days later (today) it started leaking this grouse clear stuff!.!. What is it!? How can i make it better!? please help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Infections of yeast or bacteria are possible, but so are other things!. Lotrimin and other over the counter antifungals are safe to try!. I would not use Neosporin or anything else with neomycin!. Neomycin when used repeatedly can cause an allergic reaction that looks just like an infection and badly confuses things!. No topical antibiotic except possibly prescription ones will do anything for a bacterial skin infection, unlike treating fungal skin infections with topical antifungals!. A superficial injury (how!? sand from the beach, an insect bite and all sorts of weird things) will form a scab and if you keep picking it it won't heal!. Ok, there is a possibility this is the beginning of psoriasis or other skin condition!. Consider that if it spreads or does not go away!. If it doesn't hurt, it can wait a few days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
