Question: I need help!.!.!.I'm afraid I'm going anorexic!.!.!?
I am completely obsessed with this diet! and im starving!.!.!.i'm 16 years old, 5ft ll 11in, 160 lbs!. I'm on a three day diet that guarantees you to loose 10 lbs in those three days!. I have to follow their meal plan for three days and then eat normal for 4 to prevent my body from going into starvation mode!. I already feel like im starving! I know that im at an ideal weight and that the weight im loosing now is from water!. I want to get to 150!. I know about the whole fruits and veggies and grains portion thing!. and because of volleyball I exercise vigorously everyday!. I just want to know if i stick to the three day diet, if eventually i will start loosing fat instead of water!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you're dieting right, you don't get hungry!. It's a matter of eating 5-6 times per day of small meals with LOTS of veggies, then lean protein, some good fat, with a few complex carbohydrates!. If you do this and stick to about 1200 calories you will lose weight at a rate of 1-2% of your bodyweight per week!.

Losing weight is tricky because if you do too much of these fad diets you will eventually gain more than you lost!. It's really a bad idea!. It's much better to turn to healthy eating, fueling your body and it will respond by not needing to store fat!. As an athlete, you really need to be feeding your muscles and not draining your resources through a starvation diet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Cut 400 calories out of your daily diet (the hell with whatever you're on now) and you'll lose weight!. Anything above 400 calories and you'll go into starvation mode an hold onto weight!. 400 calories is about 1 muffin!. That's it!. You don't need some crazy go nuts diet that the professionals come up with, just 400 calories!. It's that bloody simple!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Im not sure if you will lose fat but I went anorexic once and had a panic attack at a championship game I was playing in!. It wasnt fun!. I ended up eating a salty pretzel and gatorade!. You need to get salt and sugar into your diet or you will very much feel and get sickWww@Answer-Health@Com

In my opinion that diet will just make you gain more!. Sure you starve yourself for 3 days!. but the four days afterward you will gorge!. Not good!. And by the way 10 lbs in 3 days is not good!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My thought on this is that you wont likely go anorexic in three days but you are likely to put 15 pounds on the following 3 days though!Www@Answer-Health@Com
