Answers:
Herpes can be spread when no symptoms are present!. It is spread through skin-to-skin contact, and can be spread to the genitals or the mouth!. So they CAN get it, but it is by no means guaranteed that they will!. If they do get it from oral sex, they will get oral herpes, not genital herpes!.

Know that condoms don't protect against herpes!. The best that you can do is to never ever ever have sex (either oral or genital) when you are having an outbreak, or think you might be getting an outbreak, and take Valtrex, which will reduce the chances of transmission!.

Please learn as much as you can about your disease so that you can keep your partners safe - and learn from reliable sources!. Even medical professionals are often misinformed about herpes!.

I highly recommend the website below!. It will explain what you need to know about symptoms, viral shedding, transmission, etc!.

you actively shed the virus for three weeks before an outbreak even shows up!.!.!.!.so you essentially never know when you are contagious until it's too late!. yes, oral sex on you can give your partner herpes even if you are taking Valtrex and have no active lesions!. Do them and yourself a favor, give up oral sex and use adequate protection for other sexual activities!.!.!.!.or find yourself a partner who is also infected!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
