Put together a booklet or information book about type 2 diabetes, explaining in it what to do when your high, or when your low, pass this booklet around to all your teachers, also inform your school nurse & principalWww@Answer-Health@Com

This is outrageous! Have your parents contact the teacher and tell him that either he lets you or this matter goes to the principal or higher level!. This is unbelievable, he has no idea how dangerous it gets when people with diabetes are low on glucose!. If I were you I would bring the gluco tab no matter what he says, and next time he sentence you to detention tell him you want to speak to a counselor or the principal, because he has no right in endangering your life! Poor you, hope things get better!Www@Answer-Health@Com

WHAT!!? you got in trouble!? you need to speak to an administrator, because this is something to do with your well-being!. he is NOT allowed to tell you to wait until after class!. you need to do what you have to do!.

i would get permission from a doctor, have them write you a note saying that you need these tabs to keep you from feeling light headed!. your teacher is simply a jerk and they are wrong!.

talk to a counselor, principal, or nurse and get special permission to be able to have a little snack every once in a while!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well first of all this is weird but i don't think you would have type 2 diabetes because you cannot get that when you are a child you can only get it when you are older(50 yrs old) and obese!! soo yea anyway your teacher should understand that it is a serious health problem and you do need to eat if you are having a hypo! anyway i hope that helped!! (ps i have type 1 diabetes so i know)!!!!!!! :) :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

by law, you are allowed to have food in class if you need it!. your health depends on it!. you need to talk to the principal, get your parents involved, and have a note from your doctor!. it is illegal for them to not allow you to treat your medical condition!. i went thru this for a very long time when i was in school!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to have your parents contact your school nurse or principal!. Your teacher CAN NOT deny you from taking something that is medically related!. If your passing out in class he should know something is wrong, but obviously he's a moron and you need some one else to intervene!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Awe sweetie!. Get your mom to write you a note!. If it has to do with health he cant hold you back from staying consious!! Thats messed up!! So get your mom to write you a note and tell him again if i cant take a little pill i will pass out! because thats true
I hope i helped babe!! And good luck! Good health to you! <3Www@Answer-Health@Com

diabetes is easy to deal with
you can drink juice before classes and after you can play sport and burn the extra calories
that way none will notice and you ll not have hypoglycemic attacks
and if continue lower your morning insulin doseWww@Answer-Health@Com

Tell your parents and the Principal or anyone asap!. He is ridiculous for giving you detention just for taking your tablet!. Really, let someone know how you need to take something because of your problem!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to let your school nurse know!. This way, she can keep juice and things to snack on when you're feeling bad!. You should get a doctors note and note from the nurse that allows you to go to the nurse when you feel you need to!. Hope this problem gets taken care of!. :-)Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are supposed to, by law, be able to tend to ANY health problem in class or anywhere! Thats ridiculous!.!.!.!.!.get your parents to complain!.!.!.!.WALK OUT of class in the mean time if you get in trouble!.!.!.!.go straight to the principal!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your school nurse is supposed to monitor your blood sugar and food intake during school hours!. There needs to be a discussion with the principal, parent, student and teacher about this issue!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You're going to have to go above your teacher and straight to the principal!.
It's illegal for your teacher to prevent you taking your medicine (sugar pills are)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to tell your school nurse to have a talk with him because when your diabetic you cant wait till class is over!.

Your teacher is also very ignorant! ughWww@Answer-Health@Com

i think you should get your parents to complain to the school about this because you should be allowed to take whetever you need when you need!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You're gonna have to get some sort of doctor's note and give it to your teachers!. I can't believe your teacher was such a prick about it!.
Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should report your teacher; also you should tell your doctor about it; and ask him to give you a writen note stating your disease and problem!. A person with diabetes should be eating every two hours, take some apple cut them in little peaces, also an orange!. This is a serious problem to be on the right track!. Your teacher is very inconsidered, he does not deserve to be there!. This should be reported immediately, if nothing work talk a lawyer (Legal Aid Society and also call the diabetes association!. I wish I had the number of the school where you attended!. You also talk to your parents!. Remember to have all document in writing, is something happen to you, (which I pray not) the school, the teacher will liable to get sued!. Hope to hear from you again!. GAWww@Answer-Health@Com
