Question: Cold sores leaving behind scars question
Ok!.!. i got 2 coldsores on my mouth about 4 days ago and now they're almost "healed"!. THey're scabbing, etc!.
does applying Blistex help prevent scarring!?
Cause i'm worried they're gonna leave behind a scar once the scab falls off!.!.
any tips, etc!. to prevent scars!?
Also, if they do leave scars behind, will they b permanent!? or will they eventually go away!?

Blistex will not help!. You need to use zovirax or acyclovir cream as soon as you feel burning to supress the virus so blister would never show up!.
If you got cold sore, there will be scars, it's like an open wound that will heal in a week!. It will be a red bright spot and it will stay visible for several months!. Eventually it will fade!.
Zovirax is expensive like couple of grams around maybe $40 and you have to go to the doctor to get prescription!. You can get it without prescription and a little bit cheaper in Mexico!. In Russia same cream is around $1!.
The most important thing is to prevent it!. Avoid stress, too much sun, too much cold!.!. if you feel burning apply cream every four hours!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
