its my yearly physical check up and one of the things i have to do is pee in a cup!. what exactly are they checking for in my urine!? and will my pediatrician know if i do drugs!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

The only thing your pediatrician is checking for in your urine sample is if you have any kidney or liver or uti ( urinary tract infections) No he or she will not know if you do drugs becuase they are not checking for that!. But if you are that worried about being busted for using then stop!!!!! You are still apperantly pretty young and we wouldnt want that brain of yours going to waste now would we!. I am drug addiction nurse and trust me alot of the drugs out there will mess you up for life!!!!! I mean like put you in almost a retarted state of mind!. so my advice to you as a nurse is to seek help to stop!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It also depends on what type and when you last did them!. Dope, Canabis lasts for around 28 days after last use!.
All other types ie opiates etc will show for around 48 hours then they leave the system!.
BUT why the hell are you doing drugs at your age are you completely mad!?!?
They are more liekly to check for sugar in your urine and blood and protein and a few other things that MIGHT suggest you have an underlying condition dont worry you'll be fine UNLESS you've been doing drugs that is and he check on that!.
