Extremely tired, sore & achy?? Sore neck?? Sick or just tired??!

Question: Extremely tired, sore & achy!?!? Sore neck!?!? Sick or just tired!?!?

I am only 22 yrs old and am tired all the time!. I can sleep pretty much on command no matter where I am!. Aside from being tired, my body hurts and aches, especially my neck!.

Many times I feel outta it and spacey-tired!. Not sure if that has anything to do with it!.

I've tried sleeping more and sleeping less just to see if it had any effect and it didn't seem to!.

I exercise 5 times a week and when I'm done I come home and pass out almost routinely!.

Does this sound like anything!? or am i just a tired person!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am not trying to scare you but maybe you could be hypothyroid!. I am hypothyroid too, and one of the first symptoms I got was tiredness, mental fog, cold hands and feet, thin hair, weight gain, depression, goiter, which all happen to be SOME of the symptoms of underactive thyroid!. It just so happens that muscle cramp and joint pain happen to be also some of the symptoms as well as fatigue ( http://en!.wikipedia!.org/wiki/Hypothyroid!.!.!. You did not mention if you have any other symptoms but if you do have some of those I mentioned, go to have a blood test done to measure your Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH)!. Your thyroid gland is simply a thermostat in our bodies, our engine that is responsible for the basal body temperature as well as burning up the energy and is shaped like a butterfly and is located on each side of your Adam's apple!. Sometimes the thyroid gland underworks or overworks in which cases you get hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism respectively!. Hypothyroidism makes you put on weight because you do not have sufficient hormone to burn up energy=calories while hyperthyroidism makes you lose weight because your thyroid works like crazy and burns up more energy!. Hypo in Greek means under and everything associated with hypothyroidism is on the negative side, bad nails, slow heart rate, cannot tolerate cold, brittle hair, bad periods, depression, oh my god! People should really pay attention to what thir bodies tell them and not dismiss it because our bodies DO give us messages!. Maybe your body is just tired and needs some rest in which case you should give it some and reduce stress if possible!. Now if it is another, more important signal it is transmitting, pay attention to that also, even if it is not hypothyroid, because it could be something that you could just go to the doctor and get fixed!. Oh, and something else!. I know you are too young for this but why don't you check your blood pressure, just in case, sometimes when it is high, it really makes you feel outta it and almost makes you wanna faint sometimes!. Just check it that's all!. Chances are you have been pushing your body too hard and it is just having its 'revolution'!. But it could be something more than that!. Keep a close ear to what your body tells you!. I really hope it is not a thyroid problem and hope you feel better soon!. God bless you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It doesn't sound normal to me!. You could be anemic or have a thyroid problem or something like mononucleosis!. (You didn't say how long you've had the condition!.) You really ought to get checked by a M!.D!.
