I know exatly what you mean!. I have had this happen to me several times!. I have sinus problems and constantly fight with sinus infections!. Sometimes I feel like I can only breath through one side and then I feel like the fluid shifts to that side and then I can breath through the other side!. Sinuses can mess you with you so much!. When my sinuses are really bad, I have a hard time breathing out of both nostrils!. But to answer your question!.!.!.!. Yes majority of people breath through both nostrils!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

What you describe is a very common experience!. You can believe or disbelieve the following statements (or even experiment to see if it is true for you)!. My experience is that the following is true!.

Thousands of years ago, the yogis in India discovered that we breathe predominantly through one nostril for about 90 minutes!. Then we breathe through the other nostril for about 90 minutes!. This cycle goes on throughout the day!.

When we breathe mostly through the left nostril, we tend to be more relaxed!. When breathing through the right nostril, we tend to be more energized!. There is more to it than this, but this is all I can remember right now!. For example, we digest our food better during the phase of breathing through the right nostril (or maybe it's the left)!.

There is a yogic breathing exercise that involves breathing once through the left nostril and then through the right nostril!. The exercise is called Nadhi Sodhana, and I have found it to be great for relaxing my body and mind!. There's loads of information in the link below!. There are also books with lots of info on various breathing exercises!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like a Chakra question!. You can train or trick the mind and be able to inhale and exhale only through the nose!. It can be quite calming once you have learned the exercises!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is the same with everyone like you breathe!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
